Hands-on Equine Assisted Riding Therapy

Riders

We have riders from the age of two up to 80 with all types of physical, mental and emotional needs.  Theapeutic horseback riding is widely recognized as one of the most helpful forms of recreational therapies available for people with special needs.  Some of the benefits include:

  • Builds confidence
  • Develops self-discipline
  • Improves balance & coordination
  • Increases joint mobility
  • Strengthens muscle tone

Through horseback riding, participants gain an awareness of their bodies and a sense of freedom.  For some, it is their only chance to be mobile without the use of wheelchairs, walkers or crutches.  Therapeutic horseback riding is good for the body, mind and heart.  For more information on therapeutic horseback riding please visit:
